Field Hospital X for Social Ills (FHX) is an interdisciplinary, art-based project integrating research, social education, and artistic practice to address societal conditions such as violence, racism, and prejudice. Initiated in 2019 and presented at the 58th Venice Biennale, FHX was later established as a registered non-profit organisation in Israel and broadened in scope and institutional engagement. Every presentation functioned as a development – testing new formats (digital, institutional, pedagogical) and extending its impact across sectors. Since 2024, it has been hosted by the University of Haifa, serving as a platform for experiential learning, academic collaboration, and socially engaged research.
